Initializing Electrode Error
Created On
byBenjamin Plante
What to check if you see this error:
- Too much or not enough moisture on hands
- Lotion on the hands
- Disconnect the green electrode and push and release the “Calibrate” button. Plug the green electrode back in.
Additional checks for wired electrodes (hardwire systems or optional Bluetooth):
- Electrodes are not plugged in all the way
- Electrodes are plugged in backwards (color of electrode wire needs to match the color of half circle above the plug-in location)
- Breaks in the electrode wires. (Hold the electrodes in your hands and gently shake the cords up and down. If the sound changes as you shake the cords there is probably a short in a wire.)
